We Made it to Utah! Hooray!

We headed out of town on Saturday, July 25th. We had snacks, movies, notebooks, colored pencils and many other types of entertainment. We were excited and ready to go. We could hardly wait to see all of our family in Utah. We were really excited to meet two new cousins. We just knew that we would love holding sweet Harlie and sweet Macy. We fell in love with them through pictures, but it was time to love them through snuggles. We had a good drive and I know that it was because Grandma was there to help. We took turns driving and caring for the kiddos. It was so much fun to spend time with my mom and have her pretty much all to myself. We got to chit-chat, laugh and just enjoy our time together. What a special road trip. When we got to Utah we went to my parent's house for a quick hello before we headed to my sister Jana's to sleep. Easton was funny. He gave his courtesy grin and tried not to hurt anyone's feelings, but he was a little concerned about who these people were that were making such a fuss over him. He just looked and looked at Papa. He wasn't sure at first if it was okay to give him a smile or let him hold him, but he got over that pretty quick. The girls on the other hand were ready to sit with Papa and Aunt Jo and get in as many loves as they could.



We snatched up our little angel Harlie as quick as we could and of course we didn't want to give her back to Aunt Jo. She is such a tiny and snugly girl. Harlie is such a beautiful baby and I could not get over her blonde hair! What a cutie pie! Easton wasn't sure what to think about her, but he gave her the courtesy grin and kept a safe distance.







Sage, Sydnee and I, on the other hand, were smitten. The girls loved holding their new little cousin and smothering her with kisses. She was very patient with all of us and didn't seem to mind all of the attention.

We sure do love babies!! We were so happy to finally meet this little angel. She is blessed with great parents who we also love. My cute sister Jodie is such a great mom and I am happy that I was able to be around her and see what a wonderful job she does with Harlie.

We had the chance to stay at the Page's this trip and we had a great time while we were there! Aunt Jana is always full of fun ideas. The kids had a great time using the air mattress as a slide and they also loved laying on it while it was pumping up. It doesn't get any better than that! Thanks for the food, fun, late nights chatting with my little sis, cozy beds, etc. etc. We had a great time with you guys and appreciate you letting us clutter up your basement. Love ya!
