Our Trip To Utah
We were able to head to Utah from June 15th-22nd. We were excited to spend time with both of our families. We had way too much fun!! We had a few things on our "to do" list while we were there and we accomplished all of them. We had BBQ/birthday parties for Sydnee with both of our families. We played in the water at the Melville's and both Grandparent's houses. We went to Midway to hang out and eat dinner with the Murray's. Sage had a sleepover at the Page's. We visited Grandpa Grace and the girl's got to slide on his big slide out back. Matthew and Grandpa DeMar took Sage and Sydnee horseback riding up by Strawberry. They had such a great time. I was told that there wasn't any complaining at all. The closest thing was when they were doing some "snowy river" maneuvers down a steep hill and they came out in a clearing at the bottom Sydnee said with a sigh of relief, "That's better". We also went for a drive up American Fork Canyon to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We had fun feeding the pot guts and catching a fish. We stopped at Silver Lake to throw some rocks and Sydnee spotted a fishing bubble in the water near the shore. Matthew told her that he would get it for her. When he reached down to pick it up, it started swimming away. It was attached to a fish. I was the only one with shorts and flip flops on, so I kicked off my flip flops and went in after it. I was able to catch it and after a few pictures we let it go back for a swim in the lake. The girls thought it was fun. Matthew and I went through a session at the Salt Lake Temple. It was so special being able to do that together. It is always nice to feel the spirit inside the temple. We also went out to lunch at Joe's Crab Shack. That is where we ate on our first date. We had a really nice date day. We went to a fun indoor trampoline place called Jump-on-it and swimming at the AF pool with the Grace side crew. It was fun watching the kids enjoy each other and have fun adventures. Sage was so brave at the swimming pool. She wanted to go down the big water slide and of course Math and I weren't sure how she'd do in the pool at the bottom. Matthew was there to help her the first time, but she didn't need it. She would come down and just swim right over to us and was always ready to head to the lazy river. Sydnee loved the lazy river too. She could just float right around with her water wings on. We had a blast! We were also able to help my parents do some packing and moving. They are moving to a house that they built in Pleasant Grove. With all of the son-in-laws there to help out, a lot of stuff got moved out of one house and into the other. We were so happy to be able to see everyone that we did. We love and miss all of you. We will see you again soon!
Congratulations Houston

Our good friend Houston graduated from dental school. We are so excited for their family. It has been a long road for all of them. We are so glad that we are friends with the Davis'. They are just like family and we have so much fun with them. We will miss them so much when they move. Congratulations Houston and thanks for inviting us to participate in your special day.

Yipee!! More Visitors!!

DeMar and Patty came to visit us June 9th-15th. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed their company every minute. We got to have FHE with them on Monday night. We loved including them in our activities. On Tuesday, Grandpa spent the day making a pinewood derby car with a little help from the girls. It looks just like the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard. The girls had a great time painting and even ended up painting and decorating rocks from our front yard. We got to take a swim in the pool and then watched "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", or as Sydnee would say, "Indianda". Jess had a few appointments during the visit, so thank you Grandpa and Grandma for watching the girls for me. It sure made life easy to have great help. On Thursday we took them to our summer movie "Surf's Up" and then over to ride the double decker carousel. Grandpa had the right idea by staying off and watching. We went out to dinner at the Cracker Barrel and also spent time at The Bass Pro Shop. The girls looked forward to pumping up the air mattress each night before bed. They would lay on it and go for a ride. They would giggle and giggle. It was cute! We had a great time and miss having them here. We love you guys and thanks for taking the time to come and visit us. We had so much fun!
