Christmas Eve

We had such a fun time as a family on Christmas Eve! Matthew and I planned a candle light dinner and the girls loved it! Notice our make shift candle holders. We are super fancy. These were the only candles that could be found at the grocery store on Christmas Eve and we couldn't find any candle holders. Easton slept through dinner, but he couldn't eat any of the good food anyway, so it was okay. We played video games as a family and the girls were so cute. I loved watching the concentration on their faces as they played. The highlight of the evening was our family tradition of opening one present on Christmas Eve. It is always new Christmas p.j.'s. That started with my Grandma Chesnut and now my mom and dad do it for their grandkids. Too bad we couldn't be at their house to open them. The kids looked so cute in their new pajamas and slippers. They were so excited! Matthew and the girls went to the grocery store today too and the girls got to play in the kids club while Math shopped. They made some cute reindeer bags with stuff to sprinkle in our yard so that Santa and the reindeer could find our house. We had fun spreading it around the yard so that it would sparkle and our house would be found. We love spending time as a family. We are so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ who has provided a way that we can be together forever. We are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives. This is a wonderful time of year and there is no better way to spend it then as a family.
